On June 16, 2017, Teqja made his first time to the club to join Shkendija of Tetovo on a one-year agreement with the option of signing another one. The summer saw him playing in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa League, making five appearances in the process of ensuring that Shkendija was in the play-offs the second time in a row. Teqja took part in his first home match on the 21st of August, when he started in the 3-0 win away against Shkupi in the league’s first matchday. He took part in 19 matches during the championship, as Shkendija was named champions for only the second time in the history of the club; In addition, he played one cup game as Shkendija reached the final, where they defeated Pelister during the championship final to take home the trophy for the second time , and for the second time in a row, completing the double domestic. At the end of the season Teqja did not trigger the renewal option due to the fact that he wasn’t able to agree with the financial terms of the club, and left the club in just one season.

FK Kukësi announced on 31 January 2019, that Teqja had signed with the club for 18 months.

On July 12, 2015, Tirana completed the signing of Teqja from Laci for a two- year agreement for an undetermined amount. Teqja stated that his transfer towards Tirana is “a dream come true”. Teqja was able to make the Tirana debut on the 23rd of August in the league’s opening match of the 2015-16 season, against newly promoted team Terbuni Puke, playing the whole game with a 2-1 win away. After the conclusion of the 2017-17 season in which Tirana was knocked out at the very first time in its history, Teqja decided not to extend his contract and become free agents as a result.
