The 2013-14 season was a difficult one for Norburn. Norburn was in the first team but had opportunities limited. He only made 16 appearances. On April 4, 2014, he resigned from Bristol Rovers by mutual consent. First manager of the team Darrell Clarke said of Norburn departing: “Ollie has left the club, and that was mutually agreed. For whatever reason it has not gone well for Ollie this season. Ollie has a chance now to try and earn himself a contract at another club, and we wish him well and thank him for his efforts.”

Norburn made his senior debut in football on the 14th of October, 2011, when he played as the substitute in the 86th minute in the 86th minute of Bristol Rovers in a 5-2 victory against Rotherham United. At the end of December, Norburn return to Leicester City following his loan spell at Bristol Rovers finish and spend the remainder of the season at Leicester City. On July 3, Norburn joined Bristol Rovers on a permanent basis.
