Oleg Rylkov is one of the most popular and richest Serial Killer who was born on December 21, 1966 in Zelenodolsk, Soviet Union. Oleg Viktorovich Rylkov (born on December 21 of 1966, in Zelenodolsk, Tatar ASSR) also often referred to by the name of “Tolyatti Ripper”, is a Russian serial killer, pedophile, and rapist. From 1992 to 1997 there were 37 (according some sources, 39) underage girls and killed four people (among the victims were two rapes) located in Tolyatti located situated in the Samara Oblast.

On 7 February 1996, Rylkov was the first to commit a murder and killed seven- year-old Ruslan Tkachev. He swayed the boy to join him and then brutally murdered Tkachev in the Portship Village of Tolyatti Inflicting several dozen wounds with stabs. Then Rylkov took off the boy’s genitalsand ears as well as his tongue and eyes. Then, when the body was found, experts were unable to determine the gender of the victim because of the extensive cut.

After spending a little more than a year in prison, Rylkov confessed to his first murder. In June 2000 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but since he was already given life imprisonment, the sentence remained the same. Currently, he is serving his sentence at the Black Dolphin Prison.

In 2013, Rylkov confessed to murdering a 45-year-old woman in 1993, whose corpse was found with multiple knife injuries to the chest in the forest near the “Prilesye” sanatorium. However, the Investigative Committee of Russia could not confirm this, and the materials were sent back to the police.

On the 20th of July in 1997, Rylkov was found dead by a girl. The body, which was mutilated, was found in a bunker that was abandoned on the grounds of an army unit. Witnesses were present however who claimed that they had witnessed Rylkov and the woman on Topolina Street in Tolyatti, and an facial composite was developed. The evening after the suspect could be recognized by the name of Oleg Rylkov. A few days later , a police force disguised as selling counterfeit currency, detained Rylkov who claimed as a friend of Yashchenko. Rylkov was then compelled that he would not leave the area , and was released. Then, a few days later, the authentic Yashchenko was summoned to the office of the prosecutor He showed up, with his permission, and, the fake was discovered. According to Yashchenko his friend, he was planning to visit Novokuznetsk.

From 1992 to 1995 Rylkov was involved in a string of rapes against girls between the ages of 6-13. Utilizing the absence of adult supervision, he broke into the homes of his victims (the victims reported they were told that Rylkov was knocking at their door and demanded to drink water , or summon an ambulance) and raped them and then took the house.

As it later turned out, he never left Tolyatti, and was not involved in the Novokuznetsk murders, for which Alexander Spesivtsev was soon detained. Rylkov confessed to all of his crimes, except the very first murder. When asked about what he felt during the murders, he replied: “It sounds blasphemous, but something…a higher pleasure, or something”. In 1998, Rylkov was sentenced to death for his crimes, but due to the moratorium on the death sentence it was replaced with life imprisonment. The Supreme Court of Russia upheld the verdict without change.
