Oleg Kuznetsov is one of the most popular and richest Serial Killer who was born on April 30, 1969 in Balashikha, Russia. Oleg Vladimirovich Kuznetsov (April 30 1969 – August 4 in 2000) was a Russian- Soviet serial murderer and a rapist. In the years 1991-92 the killer murdered 10 women and girls aged between fifteen and thirty.

He was detained on the 26th of March in 1992, and he confessed to all rapes and murders. On the 1st of December 1993, the process of trial began. It was sentenced die, however, since Russia was a member of to the Council of Europe, in 1999 the sentence was changed to life prison. His sentence was served in the colony of the special régime IK-1 “Mordovian zone”, in the Sosnovka settlement in the Zubovo-Polyansky District within Mordovia. Republic of Mordovia.

Oleg Kuznetsov died of heart failure on 4 August 2000, aged 31.

On the night of November 12–13, 1991, threatening the victim with a knife, he committed another rape in one of the Balashikha cemeteries. The victim recognized the rapist and reported him to the authorities. Taking advantage of the collapse of the USSR and the separation of Ukraine, he moved to Kiev, where he once served, believing that in the confusion associated with the disintegration of the country, no one will be looking for him there. From then on, he decided to kill his rape victims so they couldn’t report him to the police.

The murderer committed his first murder on the 7th of May 1991. Kuznetsov was working at the time as taxi driver. The victim wanted Kuznetsov to take her to her home. On the way, Kuznetsov talked to the girl and offered her drinks. Kuznetsov stopped the car close to the Kupavna neighborhood. The couple was having sexual relations, however at the beginning of the day, the girl informed him that he needed to be paid for their “night of love” or she would inform the police. The girl was furious with Kuznetsov and he killed her right there and then. Her body was dumped in a nearby mound which was later discovered by people who passed by.
