The group held the record for longest-running Distrito Federal Trios Champions and have the highest success in the holdership of the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship, being the longest-running other trio and held it for longer than previous champions have. Los Oficiales defended the Trios title regularly which gave credence to the Trios championship as well as Los Oficiales as a group. The 28th of September, 2008 Los Oficiales became double champions after they defeated Cyborg, Kraneo, Xibalva (who were all members in previous versions from Los Oficiales) to win the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship. Bocanegra began his wrestling career in 2001, though it’s not been made public the name of his ring in the year 2001. It is a common practice in Mexico the norm is uncommon for wrestlers to gain experience with a generic character called an enmascarado (masked) character in the early stages of their careers. In 2003, he adopted the character of enmascarado “Comando Mega” in International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) and under whose name the first time he achieved success in the ring. Comando Mega teamed up with Comando Gama and Comando Alfa to form his “arch enemies” of an IWRG technico (good man) group dubbed Los Megas (Mega, Super Mega and Ultra Mega). The conflict of the factions was a battle that saw Mega Super Mega and Ultra Mega defeat Comando Mega and Comando Gama in a Lucha de Apuesta, mask against. mask battle on June 6th the 6th of June, 2004. After the defeat, both Comando Mega and Comando Gama were forced to reveal their masks which effectively ended this storyline. From 2005 to early 2007 Bocanegra was part of Comando Mega, often taking part in mid-card trio matches.
In the early part of 2007 IWRG official decided in early 2007 to establish an entirely new form of their group Los Oficiales (“The Officials”) which was a masked three-man group with the “Police officer” ring character. The three masked guys, Oficial 911, Oficial AK-47, and Oficial Fierro were announced at the Lucha Libre event during May 2007. It was later discovered it was Bocanegra had been the wrestling champion who wore that Oficial 911 mask, as the other IWRG wrestlers from the undercard were transformed into Oficial AK-47 and Oficial Fierro. Oficial Fierro was actually Bocanegra’s former rival Ultra Mega. On July 7 2007 the three defeated the Japanese trio comprising of Kai, Sasaki and Yamato to take home the Distrito Federal Trios Championship, an event that was somewhat inactive for at least a year prior to when Los Oficiales won the belts.
