Njazi Kuqi is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on March 25, 1983 in Vučitrn, District of Mitrovica, Kosovo. Njazi Kuqi (born 25 March 1983) is a Finnish footballer playing for HIFK as part of the Veikkausliiga.
Then, in January of 2005 Kuqi was signed by Birmingham City for PS400,000. However, he was unable to make any appearances in the first team during the final stages of the 2004-05 season however, he was a substitute in Birmingham’s 2-0 home loss to Chelsea during the FA Cup. Kuqi played regularly in Birmingham’s reserve squad however, he was surrounded by a variety of experienced strikers his path, including Emile Heskey and Mikael Forssell. This made it hard for him to make it into Birmingham’s starting 11. In the second half of the 2005-06 campaign, Kuqi was loaned out for loan by Blackpool on a month-long loan agreement. After signing with the club and making his debut, he played in the 4-2 win over Doncaster Rovers, coming on in the 81st minute of the game as a substitute. Kuqi later made his debut during the club’s 3-0 loss against MK Dons, and played in total 4 times in the game for Blackpool after which he returned to his home club. In March of 2006, Kuqi was loaned out again but this time with Peterborough United until the end of the season. But, Kuqi was only a player for his club, beginning in Peterborough’s draw with Barnet after which he returned to Birmingham one month earlier than anticipated. After the 2006-07 campaign, Kuqi was dismissed by Birmingham after not making any first-team appearance.
Ahead of the 2006–07 season, Kuqi joined Dutch side FC Groningen on a free transfer. However, he was released just two months after signing for the club, having not made a single appearance for the club. Six months later, in January 2007, Kuqi signed for German outfit FC Carl Zeiss Jena, but made just one first–team appearance in twelve months, before signing for TuS Koblenz in January 2008 on a three–year deal. He spent two and a half seasons with Koblenz, scoring eleven times. In August 2010, Kuqi joined League Two side Stevenage, but left after playing just one game. Shortly after, in September 2010, Kuqi joined Dundee on a one-year deal, but was released a month later when the club went into administration. Kuqi has also played internationally for the Finland national team, earning 12 caps and scoring 5 goals for his country.
In January 2008, he joined TuS Koblenz on a three-year contract. During the second half of the club’s 2007–08 campaign, Kuqi scored four goals in nine appearances, scoring his first goal for Koblenz in a 1–1 draw away to FC St. Pauli. He also scored in the club’s 3–2 away win against Kaiserslautern ten days later. He subsequently started the following season as the club’s point of attack, and played a total of 29 games during the season, scoring five times as Koblenz narrowly avoided relegation. Kuqi remained at the club ahead of the 2009–10 season, although his season was disrupted by persistent injuries, only managing to play in 14 games, scoring twice in losses against FC St. Pauli and Karlsruher SC respectively. Kuqi played his last game for the club in March 2010, coming on as an 83rd-minute substitute in a 2–0 loss to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. He left the club at the end of the 2009–10 season.
On March 5, 2005 Kuqi got a call-up to the Finland team to play a friendly match against Kuwait. Kuqi started the game and scored the sole goal of the match during a 1-0 win. The next day when he was on the bench as a substitute and scored twice in 5 minutes during Finland’s 4-1 victory over Saudi Arabia. In 2005, he was handed banned for six months from the national team following his departure from the teamafter an U21 game in the Czech Republic was played, to celebrate his birthday in Prague with co-international Toni Koskela. Following this, Kuqi was out of the team and it was believed that he would like to be a part of Kosovo however, in August 2008, he got selected to the team again when Stuart Baxter selected him for an international match against Israel however, the substitute was not used. Then, in September of 2008 Kuqi earned his third appearance as a substitute in the 75th minute for Finland’s World Cup qualifier against Germany and Germany, the match ending at 3-3.

Kuqi was born in Vucitrn, SFR Yugoslavia (present-day Vushtrri, Kosovo). His first professional team was FC Lahti in 2002, which was the year he was awarded Finland’s Under-21 Footballer of the year in the 2004. Kuqi played for three seasons with the club and scored a total of 20 goals over 57 matches across all games.
Kuqi began his career at FC Lahti of the Veikkausliiga in 2002. He stayed for three years at the club, scoring 20 goals across all occasions. Then, in January of 2005 Kuqi was signed by Birmingham City but was unable to make any appearances in the first team during his 18-month stay at Birmingham City. While with Birmingham, Kuqi was loaned out for one period of a month at Blackpool in January of 2006 and played in four games before returning to the club he was a part of. Kuqi was loaned out again in March of 2006, joining Peterborough United until the end of the 2005-06 season. He only played an appearance in the game for Peterborough before returning to Birmingham one month earlier than the time he was scheduled to return. Following the conclusion of his campaign Kuqi had been released by Birmingham.
In June 2006, Kuqi signed for FC Groningen on a free transfer, where he was to compete for a place in the team with players such as the former Manchester United striker Erik Nevland. After a range of conflicts, Kuqi was released by Groningen in August 2006, having made no first-team appearances for the club, with the season just two weeks old.
