Niko Peleshi is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on November 11, 1970 in Korçë, Albania. Niko Aleks Peleshi (born 11 November 1970 in Korce) is an Albanian politician who was elected the Vice-Prime Minister in Albania in September of 2013. He was the Prefect of Korce from 2004 until 2005, and was Mayor of Korce from 2007 until 2012. Since 2012 , he’s been part of the presidency of the Socialist Party. Since the year 2019, he’s officially appointed deputy.
In 2013, he joined the member members of the Monitoring Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
His political career began in the month of October 2004, when the Prefect was named to the Korca Region. He served for a year. In 2005, he was elected Chair of the Korce Socialist Party Branch. In the local election of February 2007 he won the election of as Mayor of Korce to be confirmed to this post during the local elections in 2011. He is a part of the Socialist Party Chairmanship since 2012.
