Niki Wories was born the 18th of June the 18th of June, 1996 at Almere, Netherlands. It is her second child of Annelies and Paul Wories. She was a student at Johan Cruyff Academy. Wories continued to play at the junior team during the first second half in the season 2014-15. In January of 2015 she was named her first Dutch National Senior Champion. The following month, she made her first international senior debut in the European Championships in Stockholm, Sweden however, she was eliminated when she placed 31st in the short-course competition. On February 1, Wories received senior silver medals during the Bavarian Open and International Challenge Cup and International Challenge Cup, and also earned the required technical score to be able to compete in the Senior World Championships. On March 1, she was able to qualify for free skating at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia by placing 15th in the short-distance program. she was 23rd overall. In the following month, she skated in the 2015 World Championships in Shanghai, China – the first Dutch participant at Worlds since 2010. She was 32nd in the short but she didn’t get into the top ten in the open skate.

Wories underwent two operations due to bursitis in her foot. Having sustained a concussion in December 2016, she decided not to compete at the 2017 European Championships. According to a February 2017 report, she has sustained five concussions.

Wories participated at her debut ISU Junior Grand Prix event in August 2013. She was coach by Sylvia Holtes and Andras Szaraz in Dordrecht and Zoetermeer in the early part of the season. She then changing to Astrid Tameling- Winkelman from Dordrecht.
