Nijaz Ibrulj (born 2 July 1956) is Nijaz Ibrulj (born 2 July 1956) is a Bosnian philosopher, and also a Professor at Sarajevo’s University’s Department of Philosophy and Sociology. He teaches on analytic philosophy, logic and methodology in social sciences, the theory of knowledge, as well as cognitive science. His research interests extend to the area of social ontology. In the years 2000-2001, Ibrulj was awarded an Fulbright Visiting Scholarship to visit the University of California at Berkeley in the United States, where he collaborated alongside John Searle and Donald Davidson.

Ibrulj is the president and founder of Academia Analitica, a learned society dedicated to the advancement of analytic philosophy and logic within Bosnia as well as Herzegovina and the director of “ZINK”, a scientific and research incubator. He is the founder editor of SOPHOS which is a young researchers journal and The Logical Foresight, a journal that focuses on logic and science.

Ibrulj has translated his work to English (Donald D. Davidson), German (Gottlob Frege) and Ancient Greek (Bosnian-Greek edition of Porphyry’s Isagoge).
