Nigel James Llong (born 11 February 1969) is an English cricket umpire, and a an ex-first class cricketer. He is currently part of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and officiates at international cricket matches, including Tests and ODIs, as well as T20Is. In the past, he played English domestic cricket in the 1990s at Kent County Cricket Club.
Llong was chosen to serve as an alternate umpire at during the 2007 Cricket World Cup, but was not asked to officiate any time during the event. He was selected to be a stand-in for the 2007 Twenty20 World Championship in South Africa in September 2007. He was chosen for one among the 20 umpires who would be in the match at the 2014 Cricket World Cup.
The highlights of his professional career to date include his participation in an event in the 2004 Twenty20 Cup. The first ODI he played was played at Lord’s and was played in June 2006 between England as well as Sri Lanka in June 2006. His first overseas appearance included an ODI with Pakistan as well as West Indies at Lahore in December of 2006. He made his first-class debut for Kent in 1990 . He also won his county cap in 1993. His style of play was distinctive as he batted left-handed however he bowled left-handed on spin. He also played for the club on Green Point CC in Cape Town in the early 1990s.

In April 2019, he was named as one of the sixteen umpires to stand in matches during the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
