Niels Frederiksen is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Manager who was born on November 5, 1970 in Odense, Region of Southern Denmark, Denmark. Frederiksen began coaching at the age of 20 and was coaching youth teams in 1913 in his home town of Odense.

Frederiksen started coaching his Lyngby Boldklub under-17 and under-19 teams from January 1st, 2006. In his first season in charge, he guided the under-19 team to second-place finish in the table in the national championship and they finished third in 2007. Then, in February of 2008 Frederiksen received the post as head of talent at Lyngby the club’s first since 2004 when Birger Jorgensen was the head of talent. Frederiksen also joined the board of directors of the Lyngby Boldklub aktieselskab.

Frederiksen began his career as a head coach at Lyngby Boldklub in 2009, after having spent almost two decades as a youth coach in B 1913, B.93 and Lyngby. He remained in the post as head coach, and later manager, for the club for nearly four years. He then coached Esbjerg, leading them to a fifth place in the domestic league as well as their best European result ever; the Europa League round of 32 where the club was knocked out by Fiorentina. He was relieved of his duties in 2015. He was later put in charge of the Denmark national under-21 team, before being appointed head coach of Brøndby in June 2019, replacing Alexander Zorniger.

After reaching promotion to the Superliga, Frederiksen signed a one-year contract extension with Lyngby on 1 July 2010. While working as head coach at the highest level, he took leave as COO in Danske Bank and would only do consulting assignments. During the 2010–11 season, Lyngby was engaged in a relegation battle but managed to avoid this in the final fixture of the season, on 29 May 2011 in a 2–0 home win over OB. The club ended in eighth place in the league table.

The year 2005 was the time Frederiksen took over the whole youth section of B.93 and also was an assistant coach for the first team , which played with the Danish 2nd Division (third highest division). On November 5, 2005, the coach was signed an agreement as a coach for under-19s to Lyngby Boldklub, and he quit B.93 in the latter part of 2005.

Niels Frederiksen (Danish pronunciation”fRedReksn” ; born November 5, 1970) is a Danish professional manager of football. He is the head coach of the Danish Superliga club Brondby IF.

Frederiksen arrived at the age of B.93 after a move to Osterbro, Copenhagen in 1997 and was placed in charge of several youth divisions. From 2000 to 2002, Frederiksen was named coach of the team for under-16s and was the assistant coach when they joined the under-18 team in 2003-2004.

Lyngby Boldklub’s first team competed in the Danish 1st Division (second highest division) in 2009, where the club’s objective was promotion to the Danish Superliga. After a poor start to the season, head coach Henrik Larsen was sacked on 23 March 2009. On the same day, Frederiksen was promoted from head of talent to head coach for the first team. Lyngby ended the 2008–09 season in sixth place, 21 and 19 points, respectively, behind Herfølge Boldklub and Silkeborg IF who reached promotion. He continued coaching the first team during the 2009–10 season while managing an HR unit within Danske Bank where he had also become chief operating officer. Frederiksen and Lyngby Boldklub reached promotion during that season, after reaching second place in the table, only behind AC Horsens and ahead of FC Fredericia in third place.

In the following season, Esbjerg knocked out Kazakh side Kairat Almaty 2–1 on aggregate in the second qualifying round, before facing Polish club Ruch Chorzów in the third round.
