Nicole Galloway (born June 13 1982) is an American politician who has served as the State Auditor in Missouri since 2015. She is running to run for the office of governor in Missouri for the 2020 election. Galloway is a part of the Democratic Party, was elected to a full-time term as the State Auditor of Missouri in the 2018 elections in November 6th, 2018. receiving 135,571 votes, which is close to 6 percent with 50.4 percent of the vote against her opponent’s 44.6 percent. Galloway was appointed the State Auditor in Missouri through the Governor Jay Nixon on April 14 of 2015, after John Watson’s resignation. John Watson. John Watson was appointed as State Auditor in the wake of the death of Tom Schweich in February 2015 prior to Galloway’s appointment as State Auditor two months afterward. After the loss of U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill in the 2018 U.S. Senate election, Galloway is the sole female elected state official and the sole Democratic elected official from the state of Missouri.

Galloway is a Roman Catholic, and graduated high school from Ursuline Academy in Oakland, Missouri. In August of 2016 she announced that was expecting her third child due in January of 2017 as the only state-wide elected official within Missouri history to be pregnant while serving in office. The son of her, Joseph Nickels Galloway was born on the 6th of January, 2017.
