After both teams scored during extra time, the game was relegated to penalties and it was the White Eagles won the match by a score of 2-1. At the Trois-Rivieres’ Attak annual awards dinner, Lesage was awarded for another time for at the Attak Trois-Rivieres Golden Boot award, which Pierre-Rudolph Mayard was also awarded who scored the most goals in the duration during the season. The same season, Lesage was loaned for his old club,, the Montreal Impact, where he played in one game.

Lesage played in the college soccer league as a member of his team the UQTR Patriotes for five years. Through his college career, his accomplishments included being selected to be a part of the CIS all-star team for three consecutive years. While playing for the Patriotes the team was a part of the Toledo Slayers of the USL Premier Development League in 2004. On April 23, 2005, He signed a contract for Montreal Impact. In 2012, he played in the newly formed Première Ligue de soccer du Québec with L’Assomption.
