The 31st of August, 2011 Agger was signed by Swedish Club Djurgardens IF on loan to the end of the season , with the purchase obligation. Agger scored his first goal in his first game against Trelleborg the match that his team would take 4-3. Djurgardens didn’t activate his release clause, and he was able to return with Brondby with seven league games for Djurgarden.

On 6 August 2012 Agger moved to Vejle-Kolding on a 3-year deal. In his second season at the club, he was mostly used on the left wing position.

Agger began playing football as a youth with Brondby IF. He was part of a variety of Danish youth teams of the national team, making his debut with the Denmark under-17 side on August 4, 2004. Agger was a part of the Brondby reserve team Agger made his debut as a senior player for Brondby IF during August of 2006 in the place of Morten “Duncan” Rasmussen and scoring two goals in the victory against FC Flora Tallinn in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, after being added to the team at the start of the second period. However, during the season, he received less and less playing time and he would eventually leave the club on loan once again.
