Nicholas Aaron Goings, born January 26, 1978, is an ex-American football running back. In 2001, he was undrafted and free to sign with the Carolina Panthers. He played college football at The Ohio State University, and The University of Pittsburgh.

The Carolina Panthers placed Goings on injured reserve on October 24, 2007, after he sustained the fourth concussion in his career, and was suffering from post-concussion syndrome. Goings had previously played in four games before he was placed on injured reserve. The Panthers released Goings on February 25, 2009.

He also set a new NFL record for consecutive 100-yard rushing games. After the 2004 season, Goings was named to Daryl Johnston’s “All Lunch Pail Crew”. He was promoted to the third spot on the depth chart the next season. His 2004 season was an impressive one and he was more frequently used in game situations. In 2007, he was elected a Special Teams Captain.

He led the team with 821 yards rushing and scored 7 touchdowns. He was named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week for his 121-yard and 3 touchdown performance against Arizona Cardinals. He rushed for a record 36 carries and accumulated 122 yards and one touchdown on Dec 5.
