Neslihan demir, born December 9, 1983, is a former Turkish volleyball player. She is one the most accomplished athletes in Turkey and was a member of the FIVB Heroes. As the flag-bearer for Turkey at the 2012 Summer Olympics Parade of Nations, she was also the official advertisement face of Turkey in the 2020 Summer Olympics candidateship. She is joined by basketballer Hedo Turoglu. She is an opposite-hitter, and has received many personal awards at international tournaments. She attended Gazi University.

Demir became a mother in 2007/08 after taking a break from volleyball.

Demir won the Best Spiker individual award during the 2013–14 CEV Champions League Final Four held in Baku, Azerbaijan. There her team lost the semifinal to VakıfBank İstanbul and the Bronze Medal match to Rabita Baku.

Neslihan demir was married to Orkun Darnel (captain of the Galatasaray Swimming Team) on July 16, 2006. Zeynep Penelope is the daughter of the couple. After playing twenty-years of water polo at the Galatasaray Daikin club, Orkun Darnel was appointed manager of Galatasaray Daikin’s women’s volleyball team. In March 2013, the couple announced their separation.
