Nayim is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on November 5, 1966 in Ceuta, Spain. Mohamed Ali Amar, also known as Nayim (born 5/11/1966), is a retired Spanish footballer who was a central midfielder.

Nayim signed with Real Zaragoza in May 1993 for PS500,000. The moment that made him the most famous in football was when he scored a goal against Arsenal in the final seconds.

Nayim retired in 2000, after a stint with Spanish Segunda División side CD Logroñés. He took up coaching afterwards, managing Atlético Ceuta and serving as assistant to AD Ceuta; in late 2009, he joined former Zaragoza teammate José Aurelio Gay’s coaching staff, being named his assistant manager after Marcelino García Toral’s sacking.

In 2006, the Aragonese village of Trasmoz named a street ‘Gol de Nayim’ (‘Nayim’s Goal’).

In 1991-92 Nayim was involved in 31 league contests. He also appeared six times in the League Cup campaign. This included both legs of the semi final loss to Nottingham Forest. He won the Goal of The Month competition for October 1991-92 with a volley against Liverpool. His team also won 4-2 thanks to his FA Cup quarter-final win at Manchester City.

Nayim, at the age of 12, left Ceuta to join FC Barcelona’s youth academy La Masia. Terry Venables managed the first team, but he had few opportunities in the following two seasons. In November 1988, he arrived on loan at Tottenham Hotspur. He signed the following year for PS400,000. His first goal was in a 2-0 win against Southampton.

In 1989-1990, Nayim played 23 games and helped Tottenham to third place. He had his first taste of English cup competition when he played in the League Cup.

He scored a last-minute goal for Real Zaragoza in the 1995 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup Final against Arsenal, with a 40-yard lob in the final minute of extra time. During eight seasons in La Liga, he played 130 matches and scored five goals.
