Nayanathara Wickramaarachchi (born January 22, 1998 as nyntaaraa vikrmaarcci), is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television. She is one of the most well-known television actresses in Sri Lanka and has been awarded the SLIM -Nielsen Peoples Award for most popular actress three years in a row.
In 2015, she began her acting career with the teledrama Hansa pihatu. It was telecast on Rupavahini and directed by Jayaprakash Sivagurunathan. She then appeared in numerous serials, including Meedumen Eha and Eran Landu. Her breakthrough performance on television was however in soap opera Deweni Inima, telecast by TV Derana. She was a popular actress playing the role of “Dewmi”, and won multiple awards at local festivals for her performance.
