Naushad Moosa, a former Indian footballer, is currently the assistant coach at Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC. He also serves as the head coach for the reserve team.
Moosa was the youth manager of Pune F.C. Pune F.C. was coached by him. Academy won two I-League U20 championships in 2012 and 2013. He was also the leader of the team to the Pune Football League title in 2016.
On 29 June 2017 it was announced that Moosa would join Bengaluru FC as assistant coach and head coach of the club’s reserve side.
Moosa’s tenure at East Bengal was over when he moved to Mumbai and signed for Mahindra & Mahindra, a Mumbai-based club. Moosa’s success at Mahindra & Mahindra was not the same as that at East Bengal. On 12 November 2000, Mahindra & Mahindra gave him his best chance to win silverware. Mahindra & Mahindra had to face Mohun Bagan in the final of 2000 Durand Cup. R.C. scored an extra-time goal. Prakash saw Bagan win the match 2-1.

Moosa started his football career with East Bengal F.C. who he played in the National Football League. Moosa was a part of East Bengal’s historic win over J. Verdy Kawasaki, League Division 1, won the Asian Cup Winners Cup match against East Bengal. East Bengal won the match 1-0 at Salt Lake Stadium. However, East Bengal were eliminated from the tournament by Verdy who won the first leg of their two-legged event with a score of 5-2. However, East Bengal’s history was made again by Mossa when he helped Kolkata win the IFA Shield against KBL-FC Kochi. East Bengal won the match 3-2 at Salt Lake Stadium.
After Godfrey Pereira resigned as head coach of Air India of the I-League, Moosa was signed to replace him in February 2013. His first match in charge took place on 3 March 2013 against ONGC. Despite Air India taking the lead in the 41st minute, ONGC came back to win 2–1. He would fail to get Air India a single victory during his short three months stint with the club as Air India eventually finished 13th, in the relegation zone, at the end of the season.
