Naufahu Tahi is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on October 30, 1981 in Fontana, United States. Naufahu Aitoni Tahi, born October 30, 1981, is an ex-American football fullback. In 2006, he was undrafted-free and signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football for BYU. Tahi was also a member the the Minnesota Vikings as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tahi played his first major game in 2008, when he was a rookie. He was ranked number one on the Vikings depth charts and played many games as fullback blocking for Adrian Peterson. He also received 16 receptions for 37 yard, the majority of them on one-yard flat dumpoffs, which Brad Childress and West Coast Offense’s favorite play.

Tahi was raised in a family that are natives of Tonga, but he was born in California before moving to Utah as a child. Tahi is cousins with former BYU and former NFL fullback Fui Vakapuna. After retiring from football in 2012 Tahi became the running backs coach for Granger High School in West Valley City, Utah. Tahi graduated from Utah State University in 2016. He is now serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Utah State Aggies.

On May 6, 2012, Tahi signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. On July 27, Tahi left Jaguars training camp for personal reasons and was released later that day.

Tahi, a college undrafted-free agent, signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a 2006 signing. However, he was cut on the final roster and was made a member the practice squad.

As a Brigham Young University freshman, Tahi led the team in rushing that year with 445 yards. He then took a three-year leave to serve a mission in Jacksonville as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tahi was a Brigham Young senior in 2003.
