Nasko Sirakov is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on April 26, 1962 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Nasko Petkov Siakov (Bulgarian: Naskopetkov Sirakov; born 26 April 1962 in Bulgaria) is a former Bulgarian footballer who was primarily a striker.

He represented the country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup Mexico, scoring against Italy in group stage (1-1), and helping the team to the round 16 – and also at the 1994 World Cup USA: During the latter, when Bulgaria finished in the best- ever fourth place, he participated in all matches. He scored against Argentina for a 2-0 win in the group stage, and earned penalties against Greece in the semifinal defeat against Italy.

In the summer of 1992, 30-year-old Sirakov signed with Ligue 1’s RC Lens, but returned to his main club in the following transfer window, helping it to three consecutive league wins, whilst being crowned the competition’s topscorer on another two occasions. He finished the 1994–95 season with Botev Plovdiv, still contributing decisively in Levski’s championship win, scoring 12 in only 10 matches.

Part of the Bulgarian team at the 1994 FIFA World Cup as it finished fourth, he was one of the most important footballers in the country in the 1980s/1990s, being a legend at Levski Sofia, a club he represented in four different spells.

Sirakov started appearing in regular matches during his second stint at Levski. He scored 14 goals in 19 matches of 1984-85 A Group as the team won their league. He helped the club to another championship in 1986-88. The club was renamed Vitosha. He also led the goal charts in both seasons. Sirakov scored 64 goals in total, including 36 goals in 30 matches. However, the championship was lost to CSKA Sofia by three points. He also won two Bulgarian Cups during this period.

Stara Zagora was where Sirakov was born. He is the son of Petko Sirakov, a professional wrestler. Sirakov began his career as a striker and played three games in Levski Sofia’s 1980 first team. Sirakov had joined the club’s youth program at the age 13. He continued to improve his game with Spartak Varna, and then lowly Haskovo. After two seasons, he returned to Levski.

Sirakov moved abroad for the first time in 1988, playing for the following three years in La Liga, with Real Zaragoza and RCD Español. Subsequently, he returned to Levski: in the first season upon his return, he netted 26 times in 27 matches, but the club again lost to CSKA.
