Nareh Arghamanyan is one of the most popular and richest Pianist who was born on January 21, 1989 in Vanadzor, Lori, Armenia. Nareh Arghamanyan, born 1989, began piano lessons at age five. She entered the Tchaikovsky Music School for Talented Children, Yerevan, at the age of eight. There she studied with Alexander Gurgenov. She was the youngest student admitted to University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2004 and she studied with Heinz Medjimorec.
Season 2009-2010 saw Arghamanyan make a New York debut at both the Frick collection and at San Francisco Performances. This resulted in a re-invitation for their Young Master Series in 2011. Additional recitals were held in Miami, Detroit and Minneapolis as well as San Juan, Kansas City, San Juan and Fresno. She performed the Saint-Saens 5th Concerto with Winnipeg Symphony, the Saint- Saens 2nd & Mozart double concertos with I Musici de Montreal and the “Emperor” Concerto together with the McGill Chamber Orchestra. Arghamanyan has performed with the Mont Blanc Symphony France and Moscow Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Armenian Philharmonic and the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.
Arghamanyan performed with the Orchestre Metropolitan under Yannick Nézet- Séguin, the Vienna Symphony at the Bregenz Festival 2011 under Xian Zhang as well as the Vancouver Symphony with James Gaffigan. Recital highlights include her debut at the Portland International Piano Series as well as the Singapore International Piano Festival.
Arghamanyan won in her twenties the 2008 Montreal International Music Competition.

Nareh Arghamanyan, Armenian: Nare Arghamanyan; born in Vanadzor (Armenian, Armenia, 1989), is an Armenian pianist who studied at the University of Music Performing Arts, Vienna, under Heinz Medjimorec. Her most notable accomplishment is the 2008 Montreal International Musical Competition.
Arghamanyan was the 1st Prize winner at the 2007 Piano Campus International Competition, Pontoise. She also took the second Prize in the 2007 Jose Roca International Competition, Valencia. She won the Josef Dichler Piano Competition, Vienna 2005. The Herbert von Karajan Foundation awarded her a scholarship the following year. At the Gina Bachauer International Juvenile Piano Competition in Salt Lake City 2000, she won the 2nd Prize. She was 11 years old, and critics predicted that she would have “a major international career”. Her talent and artistry were praised by others.
This past summer, Arghamanyan attended the prestigious Marlboro Festival, where she will return in 2011, as well as at Tanglewood music festival, Domaine Forget Quebec, the Festival International de Lanaudière and at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Arghamanyan has appeared at many festivals internationally including the Colmar Festival at the invitation of violinist Vladimir Spivakov, and a recital at Palais d’Athenée in Geneva. In 2006 she appeared on the Chamber Music San Francisco Music Series under the auspices of the Guzik Foundation, and in 2004 was a soloist with the Mont Blanc Symphony France in the Grieg Piano Concerto. Recitals in 2003 brought Ms. Arghamanyan to New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington DC, and in 2002, highlight engagements included those with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, in Moscow, and with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia in Yerevan and Berlin
