Roosevelt signed on March 14, 2015 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Canadian Football League. Roosevelt enjoyed a great second season with the Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Roosevelt played in 11 of the first 11 games before he was placed on the injured list for six more. He was named Riders Most Outstanding Player after the season, despite missing seven games. He also accepted a Riders two-year contract extension. Roosevelt ended the 2016 season with 1,095 receiving yard, which was the ninth-highest in the league. Roosevelt was injured in a helmet-tohelmet collision with Tunde Adeleke from Calgary. He was placed on the six-game injured roster. Roosevelt, at the time of the injury, was Riders’ leading receiver and had 923 receiving yards. After another 1,000 yard season, 8 touchdown catches and Roosevelt being named divisional All-Star in 2017, Roosevelt had a disappointing year in 2018. He was also injured, as well as Zach Collaros, who sustained several injuries. Prior to the regular season, the Roughriders offense already had some hits with the release of Chad Owens and Bakari Grant, who were all experienced pass catchers. A few days before the 2019 season began, Roosevelt declined an offer from Winnipeg to extend his contract for a year. The Roughriders offered him performance incentives and $160,000 Canadian dollars. Roosevelt gave the Riders a bounce-back season. He played his first 18-game season and, despite only one touchdown catch (and despite only one touchdown catch), he caught 77 passes for 946 yard. Roosevelt also surpassed the 4,000 yard mark in his career. Roosevelt also made his 300th catch. He was released by the Riders on February 11, 2020.
He was cut by the Bills on August 31, 2012. He was signed by Cleveland Browns on July 23, 2013. He was not signed by the Cleveland Browns after the 2013 season. However, he was signed following a tryout with the Detroit Lions in April 2014. He was let go by the Lions and signed with the Buffalo Bills July 21, 2014. Roosevelt was released by the Bills on August 29, 2014. Roosevelt was resigned to the practice squad by the Bills on October 3, 2014. On October 4, 2014, he was released from the practice team.
