Diggs also played for the Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams as well as the San Diego Chargers.
Diggs signed a new one-year contract with the Panthers on March 2, 2007 for $1.35million. Diggs made 49 tackles and 3.5 sacks in that season’s 16 games. Diggs also played in five pass defensed and had one forced fumble. Diggs agreed to a $7 million extension on December 29th, 2007 ($2.7 million guaranteed). Diggs was the strongside linebacker in all 16 games. He recorded 62 tackles and 1.0 sacks. One interception and two passes defensed.
