After playing college football for the California Golden Bears, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Kendricks won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles. In September 2018, he pleaded guilty to insider trading and was released by the Cleveland Browns. His sentencing date was first set for January 2019, then April 2019, and has since been postponed indefinitely. On August 7, 2019, his sentencing date was set to November 21, 2019.
