Morten Bisgaard is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on June 25, 1974 in Randers, Denmark. Morten Bisgaard, a Danish football coach who was born 25 June 1974, is a former professional player and a former midfielder. He was a member of the Danish national football team and played eight games, scoring one goal. He also represented Denmark at the 2000 European Championship. He played at club level for Randers Freja (OB), Viborg FF, and F.C. Copenhagen, Denmark and Udinese in Italy. Now he is a commentator on football and an expert on the topic on TV2 Denmark.

He returned to Denmark to play for the Superliga champions F.C. Copenhagen (FCK), in the summer 2001. He was instrumental in guiding FCK to the 2003 Superliga championships and the 2004 Danish Cup trophy. He moved to England in 2004 to play for Derby County during the Football League Championship. He lost his place in the first team squad in 2005. From an attacking midfield position, he managed to make 104 appearances and score 10 goals during his three years with the club. In 2007, his Derby contract was up and he was rumored to be joining a Superliga club. Randers FC was a likely candidate to be his future employer. His former coach Colin Todd managed them from the summer 2007 and on 23 July 2007 his old club OB signed him to a two-year contract. In the summer 2009, he left the club and retired from football.

In 2016, he started working as a football coach at Oure Fodbold Akademi. He is coach for the u-19 team Playing in the 2 division.

Since April 2017 he is the assistant coach of the Danish U17 national team.

Bisgaard made his national breakthrough during the 1996-97 Superliga season. He played in all 33 league games and scored 16 goals. Bisgaard was selected to play in the first Danish national team match under Bo Johansson. He made his international debut against Sweden in August 1996. Bisgaard played in an additional national team match in April 1997 before being sold to Udinese, an Italian club. Bisgaard was not able to play in the Italian Serie A championship his first year at Udinese and was therefore dropped from the national team. In his second year at Udinese, he played 20 games and scored a goal. He was also included in the Danish team for the 2000 European Championship. He was unable to play in the tournament’s two Denmark games. Bisgaard also played three more national team games before his October 2000 retirement.

Bisgaard was born in Hadsten and began playing football at the age 6 with Hadsten Gymnastikforening. At the age of 12, he moved to Randers Freja. He was 16 years old when he made his debut for Randers Freja’s under-19 national team. He made his senior debut in Randers Freja’s Danish 2nd Division West during 1991-92. He moved to OB after winning the Danish Superliga championship in July 1992. While completing his education, he stayed for another half-year with Randers Freja. Bisgaard, who was a loanee to Viborg FF in Denmark’s 1st Division in January 1993, helped the club win promotion to the Superliga in summer 1993.

Bisgaard began his OB career during the summer of 1993. Bisgaard was part of the OB team which eliminated several European Cup winners Real Madrid in the 1994-95 UEFA Cup tournament. OB had lost the match 2 at home in Odense. As a replacement for Steen Nedergaard, Bisgaard was brought on in the second match. Bisgaard scored the last goal of OB’s 2-0 victory and secured club advancement to the tournament. In the quarter-finals, OB was eliminated by A.C. Parma, an Italian club.

Instead he started studying journalism at the University of Southern Denmark. He finished his bachelor in January 2013.
