Mogens Krogh is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on October 31, 1963 in Hørning, Central Denmark Region, Denmark. Mogens Krogh, a former professional Danish football player and most recently Naestved BK manager, is Danish. Krogh played 464 matches for Brondby between 1991 and 2002. He was also the first goalkeeper at Ikast fS from 1981 to 1991. Krogh played in 10 matches for Denmark’s national football team. Krogh has been awarded the UEFA European Championship as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup.

Krogh was a retired player in 2002 and he got a job at Brondby IF’s public relations department. Krogh quit his job after three years and decided to leave the club in December 2005. He wanted new challenges and was open to working in a club that had direct contact to the sport. Krogh was appointed to Brondby as a coach of the young goalkeepers. He was working under Kim Vilfort (one of three people who have played more Brondby matches than Krogh).

In 2011 Krogh became new sponsor consultant at Danish 2nd Divisions club Nordvest FC. In the summer of 2013 he replaced Thomas Maale as manager of the club.

Following a successful first season as manager Krogh was hired as manager of Næstved BK in the summer of 2014. He led the club to promotion to the Danish 1st Division in his first season and managed to avoid relegation in his second. In his third season as manager of the club, Næstved was struggling and Krogh was relieved of his duties in March 2017.

Krogh was a Brondby IF international player who played 66 matches. Highlights include the match against CD Tenerife at the 1997 UEFA Cup. Krogh saved a penalty in a Brondby 1-0 win. Krogh was named 1999 Brondby IF Player-of-the Year after Brondby won 2-1 in the 1998-99 UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich.

Krogh was born in Hjorring in Denmark. He began his career with small clubs Horne KFUM, Tars Ugilt and Tars Ugilt before moving up to the topflight Danish 1st Division of Ikast fS. Krogh was purchased by Brondby in 1991 to replace Peter Schmeichel who had been the Danish champions the previous two years. Brondby didn’t find the success they desired, but Krogh would prove himself in the domestic league. Brondby was in second place in the Danish Superliga (previously known as 1st Division), season 1995-96. Brondby lost 2-3 in the final match between the two teams. Krogh, who was attacking from a corner kick, headed the ball in goal and gave Brondby the 3-3 victory that prompted him to win the season title. He won four Danish league championships during his career.

Krogh was the Danish national team’s first choice goalkeeper. However, Krogh was an understudy and was selected in the Danish squads at the Euro 1992 European Championship (Euro 1992), Euro 1996, and the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He did not play a single match. Krogh was also one of a trio that included Lars Hogh, Peter Kjaer and Peter Bernal, who all took turns being Schmeichel’s first reserve. Krogh would shine in King Fahd Cup 1995 when he was substituted and saved two penalty kicks by Marcelino Bernal, and Luis Garcia Postigo, before playing in the final against Argentina with a 2-0 victory. Today, this tournament is called the FIFA Confederations Cup.

In January 2008 Krogh became employed in the sponsorship department of Hvidovre IF and manager of the club’s reserve team. In 2009, he became new director of Hvidovre IF. He left the club at the end of 2010.
