Miquel Olmo is one of the most popular and richest Spanish footballer who was born on January 20, 1966 in Terrassa, Spain. Miquel Olmo Fortes (born 20 January 1966 in Spain) is a retired Spanish footballer who was a forward and is currently a manager.
After a spell at UE Castelldefels in 2009, Olmo took over as Girona FC’s manager. For the final three matches, he was still in charge and helped the Albirrojos maintain their Segunda Division status.
After taking the Arquelinats out of the relegation places, Olmo renewed his deal with the club on 8 May 2014. He was dismissed on 23 November.
On 24 July 2015 Olmo was appointed manager of Bahrain’s Manama Club. He was relieved from his duties on 29 October.
Olmo, who had been fired Jose Luis Garcia, was named Terrassa FC manager on 25 September 2009. He was relegated to Tercera Divison after the season, finishing dead last. He was a bench player in the next years and left the club in May 2012.

Born in Terrassa in Barcelona, Catalonia. Olmo was a member of lower league teams in his home region. He represented Terrassa FC as well as CF Gava. In 1998, Olmo, 32 years old, retired from playing for UE Poble Sec.
Olmo started his managerial career at CD Can Perallada, and he then managed CD Montcada and UE Vilassar de Mar before moving to Segunda Division B’s UE Figueres during the 2005 summer. He was a key player in the Unio’s narrow escape from relegation and finished 14th.
On 5 July 2013, Olmo was named Salamero’s assistant at CE Sabadell FC. On 28 November, after Salamero’s dismissal, Olmo was appointed caretaker manager.
