Miko Manguba is one of the most popular and richest Songwriter who was born on April 24, 1994 in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines. Manguba was born 24 April 1994 in Manila, Philippines. He is fourth in a family of five, including Marlan Manguba (both from Abulug, Cagayan Vale). His parents met in their hometown and settled in Manila. Manguba was educated in Claret School of Quezon City, and is currently studying AB Music Production at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

Manguba auditioned on 9 April 2015 for GMA Network’s first reality boys band competition To The Top. He was joined by hundreds of other male singers from various school organizations. A director from the network selected him. Manguba was the leader of Team C and the new team B. He won five of the eight showdowns (Showdown 1, Boyband songs, Showdown 2, Family, Showdown 4, Fun, Showdown 6, OPM Love Songs and Showdown 7, Ryan Cayabyab songs/TTT originals) and a win in the Composition Challenge (“Taksil Si Yaya”) Manguba was among the five grand prize winners in September 2015.

Following To The Top, Top One Project was signed under GMA Artist Center and GMA Records in 2015. Top One Project released their self-titled debut album digitally on 28 April 2016, with the songs in their first album including their original composition, “Sa’n Na”, and carrier single, “Pag-gising.”

Manguba signs a recording contract as “JMKO” (pronounced Jamiko) with the rival label of GMA Records, Star Music on 13 December 2018 which officially announces the end of GMA Network’s boyband group, Top One Project. Star Music has yet to reveal JMKO’s future projects with ABS-CBN.

Manguba auditioned immediately after he started college for De La Salle University Manila’s pop vocal group, De La Salle Innersoul. He had been performing at the group’s annual concerts since 2012: Revolution (2012), Mga Awit ng Pagsinta 2013 and All Souls (2014). In 2015, he also performed as a guest in Soul Adventures of the Piano Man – The Billy Joel Project (2015). He was named Division Manager for Production and Logistics in 2014. The following year, he produced and wrote the University’s official anthem, “One World, One La Salle”, as part of his duties as head of the Music Committee with DLS Innersoul.
