McDaniel, who was reunited with Mike Shanahan in 2011, was hired by Washington Redskins to be their offensive assistant. He was promoted to wide receivers coaching in 2013.
In 2015, McDaniel was hired by the Atlanta Falcons as their wide receivers coach under head coach Dan Quinn.
