Michael Scott Brisiel, an American football guard, was born March 14, 1983. He is currently a free agent. He played college football for Colorado State, and was signed in 2006 by the Houston Texans undrafted free agent.

Brisiel played only five games in 2009 and was replaced by Chris White in 2010, then 9, and 13, respectively. In 2011, Chris White participated in his first playoff game. He beat the Cincinnati Bengals followed by a loss against the Baltimore Ravens.

2007: Brisiel replaced Fred Weary as right guard between Chris Myers centre and Eric Winston at right tackle. These three players started 16 games in 2008 and were still together until the end of the 2011 NFL season, with the exception of injuries. Brisiel played a crucial role in the Houston Texans’ comeback win over the Miami Dolphins on October 12, 2008. Brisiel stopped the only defensive lineman who could tackle Matt Schaub, as Schaub ran the ball in from three yards out.

Brisiel was born in San Marcos Texas and graduated from Fayetteville High in Fayetteville Arkansas in 2001. Brisiel played football and also participated in the track and field and baseball teams at Fayetteville High. Brisiel was a high school football player and was named to the all-Arkansas Team. Colorado State was where he played college football. After redshirting his freshman season, Brisiel was a Colorado State football player for three seasons. In 2004, he was honored with an All-Mountain West Conference honorable distinction.
