The Theatre d’Aujourd’hui premiered Bouchard’s play Tom at the Farm (“Tom a la ferme”) in 2011. Xavier Dolan made the adaptation of the play into a movie in 2013.
Robert Favreau made a movie adaptation of Bouchard’s play The Orphan Muses (Les Muses orphelines) in 2000. His play The Madonna Painter (Le Peintre des madones), has been translated into English. It was performed in Canada in 2010 and received positive reviews. It was premiered at Toronto’s Factory Theatre on November 19, 2009.
