Michael Woroniecki is one of the most popular and richest Missionary who was born on February 4, 1954 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Michael Peter Woroniecki (also known as Michael Warnecki or Worneki or Worneki and Mike Warneki; was born February 4, 1954) has been an independent, non-denominational Christian missionary. Woroniecki’s ministry at college campuses and various public events in the US is well-known.

In 1974, Woroniecki sustained a serious football injury during spring football practice that put an end to his hopes of achieving greatness in the sport. Woroniecki was also given a Bible by his mother, which he started to read. Woroniecki claims that God used his time of depression and suffering to make him humble, and prepare him for the Gospel. Woroniecki was with his family at the Catholic Charismatic Conference, University of Notre Dame on June 14, 1974. According to Woroniecki, he was at the stadium when he said that he had told God that he did not know what “born again” meant but that he desired everything the Lord had for his life. Woroniecki said that he had given his life to Jesus while sitting in the stadium. Woroniecki believed that he had “met the living Jesus” at that moment. Woroniecki says that while the grass and goalposts were the exact same, he was transformed. He also said that he saw the Touchdown Jesus mural on the library wall right in front of his face.

The same year, Woroniecki and his teammates went on to win the NCAA Division II Football Championship for the only time in Central Michigan’s history. Woroniecki graduated from Central Michigan with a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences in 1976. While at CMU, Woroniecki met a cheerleader from Detroit, Michigan, Leslie Jean Ochalek (later renamed “Rachel Rebekah”). Woroniecki and Ochalek married in 1979.

In 1978, Woroniecki was accepted at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, a non-denominational institution. Woroniecki says he was “deeply grieved” by the professionalism and business-like attitude towards the things of God at Fuller. This atmosphere, Woroniecki claims, ultimately compelled him to stand on the campus lawn and preach “the living Jesus” to fellow students and professors when they came out of the chapel. He confronted classmates over the attitudes of scholastic pride and hypocrisy that he thought to contradict the life of Jesus of Nazareth. Woroniecki obtained his Master of Divinity degree from Fuller in 1980.

Woroniecki was a student at Central Michigan University (CMU), where he studied psychology. He also played varsity football between 1972 and 1976. Woroniecki boasted that he could bench press 400 lbs and run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. In his Christian testimony, Woroniecki says that he had forgotten his agreement with God and was prone to a “wild streak”, which included drinking and partying. Woroniecki claims that he was the “Crazy War” among his colleagues and was even arrested in the summer of his freshman year after he fought in a bar to show his peers how tough he really was.
