Constant Payne is an anime-inspired Dieselpunk science-fiction show with an aesthetic inspired from “Russian woodblock propaganda posters of 1920s and 1930’s.” Constant Payne was cancelled because Nickelodeon was angry about a WGA union organizing effort. Richard Leiby, a gossip columnist, wrote a two-page piece in 2003 praising Wright’s poster work at The Washington Post. Real Rangers contacted Leiby immediately to question Wright’s credentials.
