Maxi Viera is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on October 24, 1968 in Montevideo, Montevideo Department, Uruguay. Viera is the son of Uruguayan international Milton Viera. He graduated from Montevideo’s Italian High School. He began his professional career in 1983 with C.A. Penarol, before moving to Rampla Juniors. Viera left Uruguay in 1992 to play for Macara Ambato. She returned to Uruguay in 1994 to join Huracan Buceo, Sud America and Sud America. Viera made the move to Chile in 1995 to play for Regional Atacama, before moving to America.

Maximiliano “Maxi” Viera, a former Uruguayan soccer player, is now a manager. Viera was appointed as Alfredo’s Arias assistant coach in Deportivo Cali Colombia in 2020. Viera also signed in September 2019 as the assistant coach of Montevideo Wanderers FC in Uruguay’s first division league. For the 2018 NPSL season, Coach Viera was hired by FC Arizona as their Head Coach. He coached Miramar Misiones in the Uruguayan Professional Second Divition League, “Torneo Clausura” from 2018 to 2018.

Viera served as the technical director of Ahwatukee Foothills in Phoenix Arizona, from 2011 to 2015. He then signed with Qatari National Team as an Assistant Coach. Legacy Arizona asked Viera in 2017 to join the Club as the Assistant Director and mentor the younger coaches. He received his Diploma for the National USSF B License Concacaf in 2009 and decided to return to elite soccer. He signed in 2015 for the Qatari National Team and he stayed there for three years. 2018 and 2019, coached in the Uruguayan Pro Leagues B and First Division. Following his success in 2019, Viera was appointed to the Deportivo Cali Colombia coaching staff along with coach Alfredo Arias, for the 2020 season. He is a Conmebol South America A License and Pro License FIFA Diploma holder.

The San Jose Clash selected Viera (11th overall), in the first round of the 1999 MLS Supplemental Draft. Viera was injured reserve with a fractured right clavicle and spent the majority of his time with Clash. Viera was available for selection from the bench June 3, 1999 against Colorado Rapids. Viera was waived by the Clash on June 30, 1999. In 1999, he played just one game with the San Francisco Bay Seals. He signed with Colorado Rapids to play the rest of 1999, but he did not make any appearances. He signed with the St. Louis Ambush, National Professional Soccer League in February 2000. At the end of the season, the Ambush was disbanded. Viera was a member of the Tucson Fireballs in 2001.

After speaking with the QFA, he accepted the position of Qatari National Team Assistant coach from 2015 to 2017. After making the play-offs, Viera was appointed Head Coach by FC Arizona (NPSL). In 2018, he moved to South America to become the coach of Miramar Misiones, a Uruguayan Professional Second Division team for the Torneo Clausura. On their social media accounts, the Montevideo Wanderers FC (Uruguay) announced that Viera had signed with them for the 2019-20 season. On their Twitter account, Football Pro Team Cali Colombia announced that the 2020 Super League team included Coach Viera as an assistant coach.
