He played college football with the Liberty Flames. He was at training camp with Montreal Alouettes, but was released June 18, 2011.
Jim Barker, the coach of a high school football camp, advised him to go to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Lambros was a Liberty Flames player from 2005 to 2008. He also played in the Flames’ first Big South Conference championships, which took place in 2007 and 2008. In 2006 and 2007, he was on the Big South Presidential Honour Roll.
