Glaeser came back to the United States in 2010 and joined Miami FC of the USSF Division 2 Professional League. He played the majority of the beginning of the year working as a backup goalie to Caleb Patterson Sewell. He also briefly in loan at the state-based team FC Tampa Bay as injury protection prior to making his debut with the team on September 11, 2010, in a 2-1 victory against Montreal Impact. In 2011, Glaeser played in the team in 27 of their games Fort Lauderdale. In the wake of his excellent performance, Glaeser signed a new contract with Fort Lauderdale in July of 2011, which will keep him for the 2012 season and with an option to extend it for the next year.
Glaeser retired at the end of the 2015 season. He is currently an assistant coach for Real Monarchs.
After an impressive trial Glaeser joined Finnish team Pallo-Iirot in 2009 and played for Pallo-Iirot in Kakkonen league, which is the Finnish third division.

Glaeser played in the NCAA soccer tournament during his time at James Madison University and the University of Hartford, where he was named the America East Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and also the NSCAA Northeast Region Goalkeeper of the Year during his senior season. In 2007, Glaeser played a key role in guiding his team of Hawks towards their very first participation at the America East Championship since 2003 and played every minute of the goal and allowing only 18 goals, which is less than one per game.
Glaeser was believed to be a top pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft, but was not picked by any team and had to search elsewhere for games. He was later signed by The Western Mass Pioneers in the USL Second Division, and played 20 games between posts during his first professional season.
On March 28, 2014, Glaeser signed with USL Pro club Wilmington Hammerheads. In addition to his signing as an active player on the club roster, Glaeser will also be the club’s Goalkeeper Coach and Community Development Coordinator.
