Mats Solheim is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on December 3, 1987 in Loen, Norway. Mats Goberg Solheim (born 3 December 1987) is a Norwegian footballer who is a defender for the Eliteserien team Stabaek.

Solheim made his professional debut for Kalmar on the 2 April 2013 in a match against Syrianska FC, on the first day of the 2013 Allsvenskan. Solheim capped his debut for the team by scoring the victory 3-0. He was an everyday player at Kalmar in the coming two seasons, playing in 50 games played in Allsvenskan and scored on five occasions.

On 31 March 2015, the last day of the Swedish transfer window, Hammarby IF announced that they had signed Solheim on a three year-contract. He reunited with his former manager Nanne Bergstrand, who first had brought him to Sweden, at the Stockholm-based outfit.

It was a tough start to his time with Kalmar FF, when he injured his anterior cruciate ligament February 2012 during the preseason. It forced him to off for the remainder of the season.

Solheim began his career at the club in his hometown Stryn IL in the lower divisions.
