Matias Tellez is one of the most popular and richest Norwegian singer who was born on February 8, 1989 in Bergen, Norway. Aged 14 Matias released his debut single , ‘Singing La”, which was recorded by HP Gundersen and Kato Adland through their record label New Records. Tellez performed at numerous shows throughout Bergen and even at By:larm in 2004. This led to performances all over Norway and even Norway’s Oya Festival in Oslo. From the age of 13 to 16 Matias composed and recorded three albums that were never released, but they did result in the EP “Matias Tellez”, which was released which was released on New Records.
At the end of 2010, Tellez made the decision to stop being an artist on his own and form the group Young Dreams. He wrote the music, composed the music, and even arranged their debut album that came out in 2013, and was recorded by Modular Recordings. The album was awarded “Best Indie Album” at the highly regarded Spellemannprisen.
In January 2018 Young Dreams released their second album, Waves 2 You.
In 2008, Matias signed with Sony Music and on 16 February 2009, she released her album ‘Clouds’. It was ranked at number 30 on the VG Topp30 Albums list. The two singles from the album”Convicted” and “Hello were both heavily airplayed on radio stations across the country.
