Marwan Hussein is one of the most popular and richest Iraqi footballer who was born on January 26, 1992 in Baghdad, Iraq. Marwan Hussein (Arabic: mrwn Hsyn , born on 26 January 1993 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi football player as a center forward who is a player in the club Al-Shorta within the Iraqi Premier League as well as the Iraq.
The summer of 2014 his new home was Al-Shorta. In the Al-Shorta, he ended this season in the top spot as league’s best goal scoring player. His performance attracted clubs from overseas and he opted to Saudi Arabia the following season.
In the summer of 2015. Marwan signed contract with the Saudi Premier League club Al-Khaleej. He played 6 times (425) minute for League and cup and scoring 2 goals and 2 assist. in October Injury then ended his contract.
In Jan 2016, Marwan returned to the Iraqi Premier League as he signed a contract with his former club Al-Shorta. Al Shorta finished 7th in his first season back. The following season, Marwan was instrumental in challenging for the title, he scoring 15 goals, however the team lost in the very last round and finished third. He moved straight after the end of the long season to Iran league, without a rest.
He made his senior international debut during an informal match against North Korea national football team on the 21st of February, 2014.
