Roy made his debut with Roy’s debut race in Camping World Truck Series with King Autosport, owned by fellow Canadian Mario Gosselin. The race took place on Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, an open road course that was used in the Pinty’s Series. Roy was 21st in the race and placed 14th.

Roy first took on the Xfinity race on the track in 2013. but failed to get into the race in the event at Bristol Motor Speedway for King Autosport. The year 2014 was the first time Roy raced in 5 races for King but failed to finish three races due to engine issues and achieving a top finishing that was 30th at his first event at Phoenix International Raceway. In 2015, he raced the No. 90 car in seven races and scored an impressive 15th place finish at the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway. In 2016 Roy returned to racing in a limited capacity, and drove two of the initial 10 races. Roy continued to operate a limited program with King Autosport with sponsorship from Gamache Truck Centers. His runs were typically mid-20s to mid-30s. In 2017 Roy was a household name on Las Vegas Motor Speedway when he did not make it past the sliding Dakoda Armstrong by just inches when he was at full speed.

Roy was injured skiing before the 2015 racing season, which derailed plans for Roy and forced King Autosport to put Dexter Bean in to rides where Roy would have potentially driven.

Roy made his debut in the year 2011, with four races. He was a competitor in Dodges He was unable to finish his first race in Circuit ICAR but did not ever crash again during the season. He finished a personal best in 13th place in the Circuit De Trois Rivieres. Roy was the first to complete the calendar in the year 2012 by and qualified for all 12 races, finishing his first top ten finish, his first top-five finish, and placing eighth in the standings of points. He also was awarded the Rookie of the Year award in that race. The year 2013 was a record for Roy. Roy achieved new personal records in the Top Fives (four) and top 10s (nine) and placed fourth in the standings of points for the season of twelve races. Roy continued to run King Autosport’s Canada branch following his departure of the driving seat.
