Her short stories in the genre of fantasy include “The Potter’s Daughter” in the anthology Elemental (2006) The story was chosen to be included in the best-selling issue of The Year’s Best Fantasy Issue 7 (2007). The story is based on one of the principal protagonists of The Element of Fire. Three prequel short stories of The Fall of Ile-Rien trilogy Fall of Ile-Rien trilogy were published in Black Gate Magazine in 2007 and 2008.
