Mark Matthew Stepnoski (born January 20th 1967) is an ex- American offensive lineman for the football team who played in the National Football League. He was a student at Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, Pennsylvania, and went on to become a star player on the University of Pittsburgh. He played for 13 seasons in the NFL as a member of the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 1994, then with Houston Oilers from 1995 to 1998, with the Houston Oilers from 1995 to 1998, before returning with the Cowboys for three additional seasons. Stepnoski has won two Super Bowls while with The Cowboys and was invited to the Pro Bowl five times between 1992 and 1996.

They helped open the way for EmmittSmith becoming the NFL’s all-time top rusher. The year 1993 was the first time he was struck by an injury to his knee which required surgery when playing the Minnesota Vikings in the 13th game of the season. He was substituted with John Gesek and couldn’t play in the playoffs nor Super Bowl XXXIII. He was a free agent at the close of the season, however the Cowboys could only agree to a one-year deal ($1.2 million ) and the signing bonus of $500,000).
