The school made the decision to employ Ian McIntyre before the 2003 season was even underway and Snell left the school in order to pursue an era of club coaching. After coaching his FC Dallas youth teams for eight years, Snell set off on an 18-month vacation where he conducted research and studied the youth academy system across the world. As a result of his study, he made friends with coaches across the globe and was also a student of Pep Guardiola’s “Juego de Posicion” (Positional Play) method. Snell realized that his approach of teaching age-appropriate techniques starting from the earliest stages through games that are small-sided was in fact inspired by Positional Play. Since 2014, Snell took over as the head of the team for the very first time.
