Mark Seagraves (born 22 October 1966 in Bootle) is a former professional footballer who played for Liverpool, Norwich City, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Swindon Town. He was a defender.

He teamed up with Jewell for the fourth time after he agreed to join the scout team of Ipswich Town in November 2011.

When he was in Bolton Seagraves played in the 1995 Football League Cup Final. Seagraves later played with Swindon Town before moving into non-league football. He was promoted to coach position at Wigan in summer 2006. The manager at Wigan was Paul Jewell – was a Seagraves’s fellow player who was a member of his Liverpool FC youth team. In November 2007, Seagraves left Wigan and joined Jewell with his team Derby County. On the 29th of December, 2008 Seagraves was dismissed as the coach of Derby County after the resignation of Paul Jewell.

Seagraves started his career with Liverpool. He was a part of the youth program and was awarded England Youth caps, however Seagraves was not able to make it into the Liverpool’s top team. He was a part of two games for Liverpool, both of them in cup games. His first appearance was in the initial phase of the 1985-1986 League Cup semi-finals, against Queen’s Park Rangers, when Seagraves was substituted for wounded Gary Gillespie. Seagraves made a second appearance during the FA Cup tie against York City However, once Gillespie recovered, Seagraves was not ever again played with his Liverpool team. He spent a brief time in loan at Norwich City F.C. during the 1986-87 campaign and played three times in the 1986-87 season for The Canaries.

The 1987-88 season was the first time, Mel Machin signed Seagraves for Manchester City, then in the Second Division, for a transfer fee of P100,000. The first time he played was the following day on a Saturday, and made an appearance as a substitute to Paul Lake in a 2-0 home loss at the hands of Leeds United. He played 14 games in the 1987-88 campaign and mostly acted as a substitute to Kenny Clements. He was the team’s first choice right back during the early part of the 1988-89 season during which City was promoted into the First Division, but his season was cut short in February due to a fractured vertebra. His chances with the club were cut short the following season. An opportunity came up following Machin was fired in November of 1989, however Seagraves only played two times prior to the time that new Manager Howard Kendall brought in Alan Harper as the new right-back. His last Manchester City appearance came on 9 December 1989 in the game against Southampton. In September of 1990, he was signed by Bolton Wanderers for PS100,000.

In May 2013 Seagraves began working in Delhi India, for a company called “India On Track” in conjunction with Arsenal Soccer Schools. He is working to create a structure within the Soccer Schools that will be sustainable and will ensure the future development of football and football players within India.
