Mark Nzeocha (/e n ‘ Z a tS EN-ZOTCH (born on 19 January 1990) is a German professional American football linebacker who plays for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played his college football in the University of Wyoming.

On the 25th of September in 2017 Nzeocha was hired with the San Francisco 49ers off the Cowboys practice team. Nzeocha played in 10 games and recorded four special teams tackles. On January 26, 2018, Nzeocha re-signed with the 49ers.

On March 15, 2019, Nzeocha signed a three-year contract extension with the 49ers.

In 2016, Nzeocha played as a middle linebacker in the preseason, and he recorded an intercept in the game against Los Angeles Rams. He injured his Achilles tendon during his second match against the Miami Dolphins, which not allowed Nzeocha to sit out the remainder of the preseason, but also the first four game of regular-season. Nzeocha was a part of five games mostly as a special team player and was declared inactive for seven games.

In 2017, Nzeocha was the backup of middle linebacker Anthony Hitchens during organized team activities. On June 6, Nzeocha had his knee scoped, which delayed the start of his training camp. On September 3, he was released after the team acquired linebacker Jayrone Elliott in a trade and was re-signed to the practice squad.
