Mark Robert Jindrak (born June 26 1977) is an American businessman professional wrestler, actor and actor. He is most well-known for his performances with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as well as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the name Mark Jindrak and for his appearances with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) under the nickname of Marco Corleone. He was an ex- CMLL World Heavyweight Champion, CMLL World Trios Champion, and WCW World Tag Team Champion.

In the latter half of 2006, Jindrak was his work with the Mexican promotional organization Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre under the name of Marco Corleone. As part of his new ring’s name, that he took in reference to The Godfather, Corleone also highlighted the significance of his Italian American heritage as a part of his new gimmick that included teaming up to the fellow WCW and WWE alumni Johnny Stamboli. The first time he appeared, he was as a Rudo (heel), Corleone turned into an technico (face) due to the crowd’s acceptance. It was in 2008 that it was revealed that Jindrak was officially barred from wrestling events that took place in Tijuana, Mexico for a time due to making a mess of on his opponents’ tights during an event.

On March 15, 2009, Jindrak, under his Marco Corleone ring name, made a surprise jump from CMLL to AAA, appearing as a surprise corner man for Vampiro during AAA’s 2009 Rey de Reyes show. Corleone helped Vampiro win the match against AAA’s top heel Konnan. On June 13, 2009 at Triplemanía XVII Corleone teamed with Latin Lover against La Hermandad 187 (Nicho El Millonario and Joe Lider) in a match for the World Tag Team Championship, but were unsuccessful. On March 22, 2010, AAA released Jindrak. Corleone later stated that he had initially only signed a one-year contract with AAA and had declined to re- sign. On April 11, 2010, Mexican promotion Perros del Mal announced that they had signed Jindrak, still using the ring name Marco Corleone, to a contract.

Corleone competed on MTV’s lucha libre show, Lucha Libre USA. He became involved with the promotion shortly after leaving AAA in early 2010, and was involved in finding and signing wrestlers for the show. On December 12, 2010 Corleone, Charly Malice and RJ Brewer were defeated in a four-way elimination match by Lizmark, Jr., who became the inaugural Heavyweight Champion in the process. This episode aired on tape delay on October 1, 2011. On October 3, 2012, Corleone unsuccessfully challenged in a three-way match for the LLUSA Heavyweight Championship losing to RJ Brewer and the match also included Lizmark Jr.

After being ejected from being pulled out of the Evolution segment, Jindrak made his Raw debut on July 7, 2003. He was an opponent, only to be lost in the first round by Chris Jericho. Jindrak then began to tag-team along with Garrison Cade on the Raw brand. They fought with other teams like La Resistance, Evolution and The Dudley Boyz. The two teams split when Jindrak was brought on for the SmackDown! brand on the 22nd of March in 2004. Jindrak made his debut as a participant on SmackDown on the show’s secondary show Velocity where Jindrak appeared on the show as “The Reflection of Perfection” an egocentric heel gimmick that is obsessed with his physique. On April 8, 2004 Jindrak was granted Theodore Long’s management services for a short time until the two parted in July. Long made a change of into a face, and was appointed the manager for SmackDown! while Jindrak continued to be on Velocity. Then, in September Jindrak was paired together with Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns to aid Angle in attacking as well as cutting Big Show bald during the fifth anniversary special of SmackDown! The pair continued work as Kurt Angle’s guardians through February, when at that the pair split with Angle to pursue their own battle between them and The Undertaker. In the end, Jindrak and Reigns’ team started to have uneasy relations especially when they lost to Undertaker in an “Double Jeopardy” handicap match on February 24th Episode of SmackDown! due to Jindrak’s submission to the choke triangle. In the following month, Jindrak and Reigns lost in a Tag Team Championship match against Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. After losing Jindrak became angry by engaging in a brawl with Reigns, and then knocking him down by an uppercut. In SmackDown!’s March 10, episode SmackDown!, Jindrak defeated Reigns in a singles contest. In the following weeks, Jindrak became a low-card wrestler who appeared on Velocity and appeared only on SmackDown! to compete against wrestlers. He switched between heel and face alignments. In the episode of May 28 on Velocity, Jindrak unsuccessfully faced Orlando Jordan for the United States Championship. Then, he wrestled his final match under the SmackDown! brand in the June 18 episode of Velocity that he lost in a match to Rene Dupree. The following day, on June 30th, Jindrak became one of the last trades of the year 2005 WWE Draft, returning him to Raw. Raw brand. But, Jindrak never made his Raw debut again, since Jindrak was let go of his deal on the 5th of July in 2005.

Jindrak studied at his time at the WCW Power Plant under Paul Orndorff. The wrestler began his WCW debut at the 2nd March 1999 episode on WCW Saturday Night in a tag team with Chuck Palumbo in the tag team “The Soul Surfers” in defeat in the fight against Disorderly Conduct. He was elevated into the primary WCW team in June of 2000, under the Vince Russo era where he formed a tag group with his fellow Power Plant graduate Sean O’Haire. On August 20, 2000, Jindrak along with O’Haire were able to to form The Natural Born Thrillers with Mike Sanders, Shawn Stasiak, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny “The Bull” Stamboli, and Reno. The group was briefly “coached” by Kevin Nash. Then, in September of 2000, the Jindrak took home the World Tag Team Championship with O’Haire, for the first time, despite the fact that they were relatively new to the industry. They were crowned this World Tag Team Championship once and split in January 2001, when Jindrak was to join forces with Stasiak. The team lasted only a few months, since Stasiak was later able to take over the management duties from Stacy Keibler and Jindrak was removed from television.

Following WCW was acquired by the World Wrestling Federation purchased WCW in March 2001, Jindrak came into the WCW in July 2001, as an affiliate of The Alliance that invaded the WWF roster. Jindrak was a wrestler in matches that were dark as well as house shows all through July. His first appearance on television was on the 28th of July Episode of Jakked beating Jerry Lynn. In the late summer of the same year, Mark Jindrak was sent to the Heartland Wrestling Association. He was a part of Team WCW along with Mike Sanders, Johnny The Bull, Reno, Jason Jett, Lash LeRoux, Shannon Moore, Evan Karagias, Kwee Wee, Elix Skipper and Jamie Knoble. In the month of October, 2001 Jindrak was sent from Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to train until March 2002, when he was struck by an injury to his knee. Jindrak was able to return back to OVW during July of 2002. He also appeared on WWE on the 13th of October episode on Sunday Night Heat defeating Justin Credible. He also made a few appearances in Heat in the final quarter of 2002, battling wrestlers like Credible, Raven and Stevie Richards until he suffered an injury to his ankle. Jindrak was back in OVW in March of 2003 following his recovery. He was part of Kenny Bolin’s “Bolin Services” stable and was paired together with Garrison Cade while in OVW.

Following his departure from WWE, Jindrak toured New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2006, where he was primarily used as a low-carder. He did, however, pick up a surprise win over long-time veteran Osamu Nishimura during the tour. Soon after, Jindrak began working for the Japanese promotion HUSTLE as “Sodom”, teaming with Gomorrah.
