Mark Campbell is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on February 4, 1978 in Clawson, Michigan, United States. Mark Campbell (born 4 February 1978) is a Scottish association footballer who played last in the Scottish club Kilwinning Rangers.
In the five years he spent at Ayr He made more than 100 appearances for the first team throughout the season in every competition. He left the club in Ayr in the middle of summer 2004, when his contract ran out.
Manager Gordon Dalziel signed Campbell for a second time in his career when he brought him to a Raith Rovers side who were in the Scottish Second Division. Campbell (as Club Captain) led the team to the Scottish Second Division Championship title in April 2009. Campbell was involved in a serious car crash in February 2010 which ruled him out for nearly a year and threatened to cost him his career. He made his return on Boxing Day 2010 eventually winning the Scottish First Division Player of the Month. Raith finished second in the league. Cuts were made to Raith’s playing budget, and Campbell was one of 15 players not offered a new deal at the end of the season.
It was announced on 25 June 2011 that Campbell, alongside his ex-Raith colleague Kevin Smith, had agreed terms with Dumfries club, Queen of the South. He made his Queens debut under manager Gus MacPherson on 23 July 2011 in the 2-0 extra-time defeat away to his former club Ayr United in the 2011-12 Scottish Challenge Cup, just one of a number of times where he faced up to his brother Martyn in an opposing team. Campbell went on to make 19 first team appearances for the Palmerston Park club, before the club website announced that he had moved to Scottish Junior side Irvine Meadow.
Campbell’s former defensive teammates in Ayr, John Hughes, signed him to Falkirk in summer 2004. After missing out on cup matches from Ayr, Campbell lifted the Scottish Challenge Cup in November 2004 by defeating Ross County at St.Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park. The same Falkirk team finished their season as the winners in the Scottish First Division with a 15-point advantage over St.Mirren.

His professional career began with Stranraer after he was signed as Manager Sanny McAnespie in the year 1996. After Sanny was replaced after his appointment as manager , by Campbell Money, Mark made an loan transfer to junior club Maybole. Following his return the team to Stair Park, Mark played in the Stranraer team’s win to victory in 1997 and 1998. Second Division Championship title. The following season, the Stranraer board approved a PS90,000 offer for the title from Ayr United.
Campbell was hired with Manager Gordon Dalziel for Ayr United from Stranraer on February 24, 1999 for PS90,000. Campbell suffered a cruciate-ligament tear in the right knee. The injury forced him out of the majority of league games, and his participation in the 2002 Scottish League Cup Final against Rangers and the 2002 Scottish Cup Semi-Final Celtic the following week and both in Hampden Park.
Campbell injured his Achilles tendon and moved to Raith Rovers in January 2006.
