Marino Rahmberg (born 7 August 1974 in Orebro) is an ex- Swedish footballer who was forward. He was noted by the former manager Benny Lennartsson as a player with speed and ability.

The performance of his team was acknowledged by a loan deal to Premier League side Derby County in January 1997. However, the player played just eight minutes in Derby County’s Rams during the Premier League as a second-half substitute in a defeat of 4-2 at Leicester City on 22 February 1997. He made a few appearances for the reserve team, and even played in a game where an offside was thrown straight into the window in front of his car as it was parked in the parking lot and smashed it.

In 1999, he joined Raufoss IL in the Norwegian First Division. He was the 4th best top scorer in the 2000 Norwegian First Division and joint best top scorer in the 2001 championship. After 11 goals in 17 league matches in 2002, he returned to the top flight and back to Sweden with IFK Göteborg. He suffered a herniated disc early in the 2003 season after falling down after a challenge, failed to recover and decided to retire from professional football.

In 2007, four years after his last professional match, Rahmberg joined amateur club Mellringe Eker IF.

Rahmberg was selected for the 1997 King’s Cup in Thailand after having been the second-highest scoring player in 1997’s Allsvenskan. He took part in all four games in the competition as Sweden in the tournament, though one match was not considered to be an FIFA A-international game.

Rahmberg began his career with home club BK Forward, which was in the second division and managed by Benny Lennartsson. He joined Lyngby FC in 1995. signed with Lyngby FC after his previous manager was transferred into his new club, the Danish club. He played six times in the time of the 1995-96 Danish Superliga campaign, scoring in the final game against Odense.

The Swedish national came back to Sweden in 1996, joining the The Allsvenskan team Degerfors IF, located near his home town of Orebro. In his first year at the club He had 13 goals, and was second goal scorer of the 1996 Allsvenskan just behind Andreas Andersson.

Rahmberg returned to Degerfors in the same year, but could not avoid the team’s relegation from the Allsvenkan having scored a single goal in the campaign and missing matches due to injury. In 1998, he signed for AIK where he won the 1998 Allsvenskan playing in 19 of the 26 matches, but scoring only 3 goals. Mainly a substitute in the following year, he won the 1998-99 Svenska Cupen and decided to leave to seek first team football.
