In September of 1991, she started working as a student at Taganrog State Radio Engineering University as an assistant in the Department of Economics. From 1994, she was an experienced specialist in the department of credit at PromStroyBank located in the town of Rostov-onDon. The year 1996 saw her relocated to an insurance firm Soyuz in which she was appointed the post of Chief Financial specialist.

Rector for Southern Federal University since 2012. The President is of the Council of Rectors of Southern Federal District Vice-President of the Russian Union of Rectors.
In 1986, she completed her studies at in the Economics Faculty of Rostov State University (specialty “political economy”).
In 2010, she moved to work at the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, where, until 2012, she held the post of Deputy Director of the Department for Organization of the Budget Process, Accounting and Reporting.
